Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO)

The Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) is a membership organization of 59 chief health officials from the fifty states, Washington, D.C., five U.S. territories, and three Freely Associated States. ASTHO’s mission is to develop strong and effective public health leaders; improve public health through capacity building, technical assistance, and thought leadership; advocate for resources and policies that will enhance the public’s health, and promote the advancement of equity and optimal health for all.
